Webbsight Imaging Peripherals Inc. has been appointed Canadian
distributor for Avenel, NJ-based Mizco International's line of accessory
products under the DigiPower brand name.
DigiPower offers a vast line of portable charging devices, ranging
from a lithium-ion battery charger than can charge multiple types of
batteries; to emergency battery attachments for cell phones, power cases
for devices like the iPod, a power pack for the iPod/iPhone that also
doubles as a video stand, and even 2.1 amp portable chargers for the
iPad. The company also claims to offer the "thinnest and lightest"
battery back up. Measuring just 7 mm thin, the charger (shown here;
model JS-SLIM) affords a multitude of connectivity options, including
micro and mini USB, displays the charge status via an LED, and can
double the life of most cell phones.
The distribution agreement, which is effective immediately,
represents a major step forward in helping Mizco expand its sales
throughout Canada, explains Maurice Mizrahi, Executive Vice President of
the company.
"Since pioneering the photo imaging power category in 1990," he
declares, "we have focused our efforts on building out our core United
States customer base. And, while we certainly have new goals and
objectives to realize here in our home market, it was time that we take
the next step forward in our North American marketing plan. This
agreement with Webbsight Imaging Inc. will help us to significantly and
quickly penetrate the Canadian photo market with our DigiPower product
line.
"I am extremely excited and pleased about our new partnership with
Webbsight Imaging Inc.," adds Zeno Ricci, Canadian Sales Director at
Mizco.
